new knees for me!

A lot's happened since I got bonafide. The nice people that take care of me told me that I sit funny because my knees are broken and need to be fixed. Maybe that's why it hurts to get up in the morning? Sometimes I try to run to see my people but then I fall down.

The nice doctor that spaded me twisted my legs around like a pretzel (ouch!) and she said I got a Grade 3 for one knee and a Grade 4 for the other knee. I wonder if that means I got good grades?

My foster people told me I don't need to worry about a thing and that they're going to buy me some new knees. Isn't that nice? I wonder when the new knees will get here. Until they do, I'm going to be very very good so they know that I'm looking forward to my new gift.

  10. Dear Pinky,
I know what it's like to get ONE new knee, but to get TWO new ones must be even more exciting! Last April a dog pulled at her leash so hard that I ended up falling on the sidewalk & now I have a huge wormy looking scar on my left knee!
P.S. I think you should tell your mr & mrs to adopt you!

  13. Hi Pinky! I found your blog (and specifically this photo) through a google image search: 'pit bull in towel". You see, an image popped up on my facebook wall today of a sweet pittie in need of a home, and she was wearing a towel like a toga. And since a pit bull in a towel *might* be one of the cutest things ever, with haste I hope I don't regret, I scooped up www.pitbullsintowels.com. It's going to be a wordpress photoblog dedicated to showing pitties, pit mixes and similar bully breeds in a more positive, family-friendly light. Its spokesdog (my very own pink and white pit bull, Sophie) will also advocate for local rescues as well...with photos of the dogs in towels. :)

May I use your photo to kick off pitbullsintowels.com?
